Does foam dry out??

I have to replace the floor in our monark sk. the foam is saturated, will it dry out?? or do I have to replace it too? If so where do I buy foam? This site has been helpful a lot already.. I am new to boats so thanks to all in advance.

it won't dry out, it needs to be replaced. Many, including myself, have used pool noodles. Others have used the liquid expanding foam poured into small holes through the floor after the floor and streamers are replaced. You can go back and use the circles cut out of the floor to seel it off afterwards with a little fiberglass mat and resin.

Dig it out unless you're really patient. Your kids kids will have dry foam if you wait for mother nature.
