Does my Model have a thermostat?

1986 Johnson 25 hp, j25tecdc, can't find anything about a thermostat, just wondering if it had one before I change the water pump.

Also, on a maintenance guide I saw a suggestion to change the seal, O-ring(s), on your propshaft when changing the impeller. Do you guys also do this?
