Latt night i decarbed my 1996 200 johnson. I put a hose in the back of the engine where it belongs and ran in driveway. When i put the screw- (not sure of the proper name) back in, the one that has the adjustable water outlet in it I must not have tighten it well. Today on the lake when running the deep creep out of the engine the screw must have fallen out. It was in when i started the engine since i saw a stream like normal when i started it. When i stopped after a short run i noticed just about no water pressure on the gauge and water blowing like crazy from the hole. The overheat buzzer never came on so i think it just fell out.
My dumb question, is that normal to lose water pressure like that without that screw in and when i buy a new screw i should be ok right?
Hope im not the only one to ever do this
