Doing this as hobby

Does anyone think that this could be a lucrative business? I had so much fun fixin my 1975 25hp motor that I told my wife I should buy old motors that people think are junk and get them running again. Is someone making money on this right now? Does anyone else think this could make money?

i do it as a hobby, and to stay busy, sometimes i make a little some loose a little. really as long as i break even i'm happy. it is doing something i like, and keeps me occupied.

WARNING! If you enjoy working on old outboard motors, there is a very high probability that you will be stricken with MBS (Multiple Boat Syndrome). Proceed with caution so you will continue to have fun. Good luck!
