Dometic Xtreme cable and helm

Anyone convert over from the "standard cable and helm and install the Dometic Xtreme parts. did it have a better feel, as good as a boat steering can be?

So I was informed by SeaStar - Dometic tech support that the Xtreme helm is a 4 turn and what I probably want is a HPS helm which is a 3 turn, which uses the normal cable... still looking for anyone with experience with either of the new rotary helm setups with the planetary gears... either the Xtreme or the HPS. Thanks
