Dominican Boat Pics.

Saw these in the Dominican Republic recently. Fun little things. Handled like a hovercraft, easy to slide sideways. Not overly fast in a straight line, instant hole shot though. Fun to try once but I sure would not buy one.

Did you take one out? Looks like they are renting them out to the tourists there.

Where is the steering mechanism?

one of the pontoon companies is building the here n the states. the hull is a little deeper, and look like they would handle better.

Was good fun for a half hour or so. Steering is by lever between the seats on the one we tried. They were taking 2 hour trips out or a half hour a day for the resort guests included in the package if you were a "gold" guest which we were not so $20:00 cash to the guy running the show with them got us the same privelidge for the 8 days we were there.
