There has got to be follow up pictures somewhere showing the boat having fallen off that tow truck. :eek:

Sickening pictures to think about that guy's runined day! I took off this past Monday to go fishing. While backing down the ramp heard a rattling noise and stopped the truck in time to see my boat nose up with the bow on the trailer and the transom on the ramp! I had left my winch cable connected as I always do but some ice had clogged the catch and it released. Since the boat was still hooked and hadn't come completely off the trailer I was able to winch it back on the trailer . The damage was minimal since it's an outboard and was tilted up at the time. I launched and and when I went to crank the motor the starter just growled. I had to start the 70 HP Evinrude with the pull cord. I had started and ran the engine the night before since I knew the temperature would be in the 20's. But I guess it was just too cold. How's that for quality entertainment?!

relstab-I've had days like that. PS when you get the growl, try tightening your battery connections.

As for the boat, here's my theory: the stern drive fell off the boat and they dragged it up the ramp to keep it from sinking--or it had already sunk and then they dragged it. Then they loaded it on the truck to haul it away.
