The guy had it listed as an 89 150 black max. I goto pick it up and he says its actually a 175. I asked if he had the 175 powerhead put on, he said no and he didnt know anything about it.. A little confused, although the motor runs great, I am not sure if its even a black max. It does not have the oil reservoir, which is no biggie. How can I find out what it really is..? serial number is 0A961022, but thats on the transom bracket and for all I know it could be from another motor. Is there a stamp or anything on the head I can look up to see what it is? I just want to know if its a black max or not.. and if its a 175 or 150.
