I just came back from my local Auto zone and they are telling me no makes my plugs anymore the champion L20V or any other like brand.
Is this true or is it just another idiot like most places now?

And they also said they cant get them and one book says L20V the other says L82C with a .40 gap.

Champion # 322. A few years ago, Champion changed their ID system but as far as I know, they still make the plugs. Jackass just didn't know enough to cross reference.--or didn't want to--

L82C is a Merc plug and may work--they may use them in the later Forces-- but I wouldn't trust them in the earlier engines.

Went to Napa, and they had Champion Copper UL18V (fixed gap) that I need for my Force. They may also have the UL20V you need.

Re: Don't make plugs?

l20v is available at sparkplugs dot com for $2.42 each.

The Denso, Autolite, and NGK listed above should also work.
