Dont think my boat got winterized properly??????

i just brought the boat home from my mecanic/outdoor storage who i had winterized my boat in september i decided to pick the boat up early this year n star doing little projects since i have a heated garage im planning on replacing the carpet cd player n speakers n a few other things but i inspected the engine i noticed my drain plugs on the engine were not on all the way 3 plugs total so im thinking they didnt run any pink thrugh my engine now im really worry to what could happen to my engine with low of 10s night time n high 30s during the day im not sure for what visual damage i can look for or what internal damage mighted happen.thank you

Sounds like they did winterize correctly and just put the plugs back in loosely so they dont get lost.

Most manufacturers just want you to drain and not use pink.

the engine is 77 120 omc. isnt there water that seats on the sterndrive.

As long as there was no water in your gear lube, all the water should drain out just by putting the drive in the down position. Cranking the engine over a couple of times would help maybe a little, but the Stringer should drain from gravity.

Cool thank you so much i was really worry since i didnt see any pink i should be able to sleep better tonight
