Hi yall. I am starting my night tournaments and i was wondering how i could avoid all my electronics [ sonar,lights,blacklight,etc.] from running my starting battery down. THANX

Get them off the starting battery and power them from a deep cycle. If you are using standard lights for night fishing, consider switching them to LED style. They draw far less power. If you don't want to switch wiring, take a jump-start box with you.

for even longer service 2 - 6 volt in series for the electronics.

Hey TD, What type of 6 volt batts would you use in that setup? How large are the 6 volts? Any idea how much they weigh?
