Hi Gents
I am new to this forum, been boating for a while and hoping someone can answer a question. How much I should pay for an excellent condition 03 Doral 250 SE, it was launched in 07 with only 65 hours. The boat is almost mint with Merc 5.7 and Bravo 3. The seller in Ontario wants CDN $45,000. Thanks

Welcome to iboats. Glad you have chosen to come aboard.
That's a nice boat. Done a little research for you with a couple of friends of mine that are boat dealers. They would give no more than $35,000 as a trade and that is if it is absolutely mint with a recorded history. The launch date apparently means next to nothing to them. Remember the taxes etc that will be on top of the buying price.

Bannister, now that's a whole lot more boat for the same 45k. It's beautiful. Mind if I ask how much you paid for your 250 SE. I paid $18.200 U.S for the 250SE, same year, same engine, same drive.
I did not go to the States though since a friend had bought a Larson 220 from them too and I used the same contact (trusted). Keep in mind that I am located at Athens Greece....
The person you need to talk to is Ron Brozic (sales). He can arrange everything for you. Tell him that Themis from Athens recommended....
Paid the boat at November 10 2009 and had the boat at the dock at December 24 2009. So you may still have time to catch this boating season.
Ask him to take extra pics of the boat and send them to you. Remember that those boats are usually bank repos and they are sold as is, where is. They also come with what was on or in them at the moment of the repo.
What he described is what I got and he was very responsive and helpful either by email or by phone.
