Hi all I just picked up a new boat today a 99 for wins 170. Always a freshwater bow and only has probably 100 hours on it all the machines surfaces in the engine are still shiny like chrome like it was never used in the tags are still on the engine. The engine is a 1999 Johnson 115hp v4 vro carb engine. Now the problem that I'm having is when we squeezed the primer ball to fire it up gas sprayed out from The top of a box looking thing in between the cylinders on top of what looks to be the Vro pump in between the cylinders. It has 4 Phillips head screws when I removed the top I noticed it has a float valve in it that that looks like a carburetor. But whatever that part is it's leaking in the corner when I squeeze the ball gas sprays out . If anyone knows what that is please let me know so I can order a new gasket . thanks to all
