Double Cup or not, on a pontoon?

I have a 2022 SunTracker PB 22DLX with merc 150. I'm looking for a replacement aluminum prop for the stock SS Enertia one.

Current Stats:
Prop: SS Enertia 15.6 X 13P
WOT: 5400 via VessleView
Motor Spec WOT: 5000 - 5800
MPH: 31mph gps flatwater, bimini in radar position
Light load: 2-3 people
Trim: First mark up from full down. Full up?
Slip: 10%

The Enertia prop appears to be working well, based on slip for a pontoon. I would like similar performance in alum, but get the rpms up. Loosing 1-2 mph is OK. In the future will be pulling a tube. The Enertia 16 X 11P is around $900 with a new hub.

I have used Solas props on my I/O with good success. I also still have a couple of new 102 hubs that will also fit the 150. I have been looking at the Amita 3 15.5 X 11P props to get the the rpms up a little. There is a standard and a double cup version. Anyone been running the double cup on a same/similar pontoon?

Not sure I would drop down to 11P with where your RPM's are unless you added a blade.

There isn't an Aluminium Prop made that can perform the same as an Enertia

I'd like to be in the upper rpm range with the light load so that it will still be in its range with a heavy one. Not many choices in 12P.

Just trying to get close. Also considering having the Enertia reworked to a 12 pitch. Not sure I'll find a good prop shop though.

Zoro had the Rubex 3 16 X 11P double cup (9501-155-11DC) for $112 w/shipping. I think I'm going to try it. Worse case, I need a spare prop.

Be prepared to be underwhelmed if you attempt a repitch. You are getting 5400 with the 13" Enertia, an 11 should put you at 5800. Enertia is a very good Prop, not cheap, but it is one of a very few that can deliver better Performance at the Top End, and also at Hole Shot. I got mine back in 2005, after I borrowed one from Dealer to try out.

I have the same prop and numbers you have on a 20’ with a 90hp. CT couple mph slower . Love the prop will probably buy the 11 pitch for a spare and to pull tubes. Have a place in Havasu that sells used props looking into it and see if they have one.
