Yup, just set it up like the 35hp. Is there a place on your 25hp to drill and tap out for a 1/8" NPT 90° barb fitting?
If or when you tap your cover, tap a bit and fit the fitting. The tap is tapered, so the deeper you tap, the more the fitting will thread in before tightening. Just make sure you don't tap too deep.

You cannot use the old pressure tank line currently on the outboard because it's 'rectified' by a check valve on the reed plate. Just block this port off.
If you click on the little house icon on my post, you'll see a picture of my 28hp setup this way. The lower cover is tapped, and the pump is mounted on the exhaust cover plate on the far side of the motor, between the exhaust 'bubble' and the shift/throttle interrupter bar.

hello
best place to tap is on a transfer port cover after removing the cover.
use a new gasket on the cover when reinstalling.
some of the later engines had the fitting threads already there.

China clipper - yes it can, but you want to use a smaller pump which mounts directly to one of the bypass covers. I think the one picured would be too large for the 7.5hp.

jimmbo - nope!
