Down & dirty wiring...

I've installed a bow and stern light on my 14' aluminum boat so I can use it a night. I'm going to power them with a lawnmower battery, which my tests show will be sufficient for this purpose. The water here is well lit at night. The lights are simply there to make the boat legal. What's the simplest way to wire this up? Can I run hot leads to the lights and ground everything to the boat, since it's metal, or do I have to run a hot and ground to each light, or can I "loop" a wire from the battery through the 2 lights and back to the battery?
Thanks
JD

always do it right..

hot an ground to each lite.. ( it ain't like you got a ton-of-stuff to wire an a 32 ft boat )..

if you use no ground an use hull for ground is bad for electrolosis..

buy 14 ft lenght of clear aquirum hose 5/8". run it under-the-lip.. use it as a conduit.. cost you least 10 bucs..
