In my 30 HP owners manual, it says to replace the drain bolt gasket after every oil change. Well, I can't be sure, but I think mine never had one or I lost it. I really think it never had one! My question, is the manual correct about there being a gasket for that bolt? I can tell you that mine has no leaks without one. If one should be used, can I make one? There is no dealer near me and shipping would be 10X the cost of the gasket.
