Drain water after every use?

Ive got a Bayliner with Merc 3,0l engine and the engine is fitted with the 2 drain hoses to drain the engine block and exhaust manifold into the bilge.

The boat is in the (fresh) water 7 months of the year.

Should I be draining the water out of the manifold and engine after use to reduce internal corrosion or would the now wet surfaces surrounded by more air be in a worse state than if I just leave the water in?

If no chance of it freezing then no need to drain it unless you are in salt.

Yes...that is why you are better off leaving the water in there.
