Drinking water pump St. Torpez

Wellcraft, Jaspco water pump for sink and shower, every 60 seconds or so will give short prrrrupp as it pressures up. No leaks in taps or water pipe connections. need to know if there is a valve in the pump that can go weak and leak off pressure back to tank side?

not enough details (model number). The pumps normally turn on at about 20psi and off at 40psi so if the switch is working correctly and there is no leak that suggests that the diaphragms are leaking backwards. They do sell rebuild kits for the pump.
