Hey I've been reading these forums for a while now and have learned quite a bit. Although I still have a lot left to learn. Right now I'm trying to figure out some pretty technical info that I hope you can help me with. My wife and I bought our first boat with a trashed engine. I have a replacement lined up. It's a 120hp mercruiser that has a 2 piece rear seal. There is no drive coupler on the engine. The boat has a alpha one drive unit. My question is if I buy the drive coupler will it fit the spline in my alpha? I haven't bought the engine yet but mine will not fit from the other engine it's the triangular shaped one. Where as the 120hp merc only has studs around the centre of the flywheel. Thanks in advance for the help

Howdy

We need a bit more info to help. What year is the boat and what year is the motor your looking at?

Look on the current motor for a tag with a serial number
