I just bought a new/used prop from a 75 horse chrysler for my 75 horse chrysler. Mine is dinged badon all blades and missing half a blade on one. The new prop has one little nick in it, and looks great. The problem is one is from a newer boat, as it only has 15 splines and no provision for a shear pin, while my old one has 18 and a shear pin. If I can get a hub kit for the new prop, is it possible to simply replace the 15 spine drive with the one from my 18?
