I have replaced the U-Joints and I have everything ready to go to install the outdrive except for the drive shaft assembly. I checked all the parts and cleaned them up real good and there is no significant wear that I can see. I made sure and keep the bearing matched with the respective race. I have the manual but I can not make out where the shims and what looks like a retaining ring go. There are 3 small shims and a larger ring that has a space in it that looks like some type of retainer. Can anyone tell me if these to go in a specific location in the drawing below?
