Ok I have an "83 merk #1 pre alpha drive. I am to the point of installing the drive shaft bellows. I have the tube so there is no exhoust to replace. Is there any tricks to doing this.
The bell housing is allready off. should I attach the bellows to the bell housing first, then install the bellhousing? any pointers will be appreciate. I have heard this is a bear of a job.

Bellhousing first for driveshaft bellows. On the tube, outer shield first (opposite). Be sure to clean the surfaces where the glue will be.

I installed mine on the gimble housing first, after replacing the hose and shift bellows.
Then I put the glue on the drive bellows, then the clamp and finally the bellhousing.
That way I only had to stand on my left ear to tighten the one clamp and could move it around as needed to make it easier. After that do the hinge pins.
