If they are the same type drive shaft--two piece with coupler, or one piece-- and if they are the same length ---AND --since you did not give years-- IF they are same crankshaft splines, because later Merc./Force engines used different drive shaft splines at the crank, Then yes, they are swappable.
One caveat: If you are changing a one piece drive shaft, you must be certain that the pinion/drive gear backlash is reset by shimming the upper bearing. Typically it is .005
