Driveshaft

[72 Resorter]

I have a 72 Century Resorter. I just broke the driveshaft, I know there is probally none out there and will have to have one made. Does anyone know what they are made of? I know it is 1" stainless but don't know what grade.

Ayuh,... Whatever Prop Shop/ Machine Shop you pick to do the job, will have shafting stock to choose from, or will get it...

Might be Monel. More expensive than stainless but stronger and more corrosion resistant. Why not see if there is a Century owners website and ask there?
