so i decided to take to the marina.....
was having a outdrive oil leak coming through the starboard side weep hole on the outdrive. PO had the impeller replaced last year when the boat was winterized and i am assuming the o ring wasnt seated when the lower was put back on.
i debated doing this myself several times and finnally decided to have my marina handle this. they have the ability (and more importantly the time) to preasure test both upper and lower to find the proper leak and fix the issue...where since this would be my first time attempting this may lead into a bunch of swearing and the job not being done properly.
Hopefully this stays simple and i can get her back soon (they are thinking that they can slip it in between jobs and get it done by friday or monday...assuming everything goes okay)
