Drops power 2004 5.0 mpi help!!!

Out of the hole pulling a tube at take off it drops power like a rock. Did this 2 times last Wednesday, once on Friday and once on Saturday. Run fine all day on Sunday until time to go home. Had been floating around in the water every time for 30 to 40 minutes so I dont think it is a heat problem. The last time it done this is would not stay running. After the tow to the ramp it started and run fine. Pulled it to the cabin and started it again and it run fine. Any ideas? I changed the fuel fiter last year. I pulled the filter off and found no water or any trash coming out of it as I strained it through a paper towel. Could I have a vapor lock problem?

Do you have a warning beeper on the boat? If so does it go off before it stalls?

Yes I do have the beeper and it is not going off. I tested the beeper to make sure it is working and it is.

Possible, but your symptoms do not mimic exactly. Take a read of attached.

Thanks QC.....I had found this the other day on another post. What else do you think could be the problem?
Should I be able to blow with my mouth threw the gas cap from the outside in or does it take more pressure than that. Is it a way to test a gas cap?
It is everytime after I stop for a few minutes 30 or so....heat builds up and Bam!

Depends on if you have another vent as well. If this was a vent issue I would expect low power during a high power run, not after startup.
