Have an older Galaxy tri-hull that I took out last weekend and left it at a dock. there was a huge rainstorm that dropped a lot of rain. I took the boat out after and noticed that there was a significant drop in speed. I naturally thought water in the boat so I put on my bilge pump and there was nothing to pump!! When the boat is level on the water the bilge need the plug is empty. Later when I pulled out on the steep ramp I stopped and was able to pump about 30-40 gallons!! Is there any suggestions on how to keep water out of the bottom of the boat? (I generally keep it covered at all times.) Thanks for your suggestions, Brian

Re: dry bilge?!?

some of the boats have a lowered bilge area, that has holes that stoppers can be inserted, but remember to take them out when trailer. when stored, keep the bow high, and the drain plugs out.
