I see the term dry gas from time to time...what is that? I had a problem with my motor running bogged down and 1/3 power. I changed my fuel line, cleaned the filter screen and replaced the fuel connectors because I notice bubbles at the tank fittings when I would squeeze the primer bulb. I just took it out and it ran alot better even close to full power in spurts but still hesitant for the most part but not bogging down...if that makes sense? Plan now to change the plugs and will adding an inline filter( or separator?) help at all???

Re: Dry gas???

I used some dry-gas last weekend and it solved my problem. It may say fuel-line anti-freeze on the plastic bottle. I believe the ingredient is methyl alcohol. I think I got water into the portable gas tank at the vent cap when I was rinsing the salt water off my boat. Someone said it can eat into your rubber fuel line or bulb so I would not over-do-it; just the recommended amount on the bottle and then try to use up that gas within a week, I imagine.

I don't know if this has been mentioned to you before but have you tryed to "decarb" the engine. If you haven't the product that is used to do this is engine tuner, it is genarally available at marine engine stores.
