Where do I go from here?<br />The ECM charging circuit on my 1997 DT140 died. Every other function works fine. Just won't recharge my batteries. I am thinking of two options.<br />1. Replace the ECM with new/used if I can find one<br />2. replace the ECM/Throttle body/exhaust with DT115 used stuff if I can find it.(Gas prices you know)((my favorite choice))<br />The boat cruises nicely at 3800/4000 RPM. I think it will be OK with the 115 at say 4400 when reproped. Any words of wisdom?<br />I have been known to arrive at some pretty strange conclusions to some simple ideas in my time. This may be my best one yet!
