Hi guys, i have a 95 dt25c that i bought about two months ago i thought it ran fine since the day i got it... one fishing trip pulled up anchor started the motor and i sounded different but in a good way i put it in gear and it ran like a raped ape but only for 20 or so seconds then it ran like i was use to it running... i played with it for a hour or so and finally figured out how to make it run on all three cyls. but only for 20 seconds, the only way to make it run right is if the motor is off i have to pull the choke several times then start it up runs great then misfires after 20 seconds or so every time.... i have no idea what to do... so far i have cleaned the carbs, replaced plugs, fuel pump diaphram, new carb gaskets, fuel line and bulb... please help......

have a look at the reeds, get the carbs synced and always run fuel system cleaner with the fuel in the tank ....

Re: dt25c engine misfires unless choked

well i pulled the carbs off and inspected the reed valves, it all looks in good working order, no gaps for air and they still have good spring back... on a different forum someone told me that pulling the choke with the motor off could not have ant effect on the motor at all and he said im missing one the #1 cyl.... im have trouble finding a carb sync tool is there any DIY ways to sync them?
