Dual batteries

I have a 94 Bay Liner walk around and I've decided to go with a dual battery. Any suggestions on where to put the switch. Seems like closer to the battery is best but I can't find a place to mount it back there. thanks

How about putting the batteries where the switch can be mounted?<br /><br />Mine are in the console.<br /><br />Good luck.

on the new trophys they are located in the port rear storage/battery area. you should notice that the glass/wood is thicker in the area rite behind the battery. its like that on both sides.

On my boat there are two compartments in the back port and starbard. I think I will put one battery in each and mount the switch in there. That will keep the cable short, and the batteries near the motor and of course the switch out of harms way. I really wanted better access to it but the more I look at that looks right. Thanks for helping me think this through.
