I have a 209 Grady White with a 200 hp Yamaha main engine and a 9.9 Yamaha kicker. Connecting the two together with a tie bar for trolling, requires death defying gymnastics leaning over the transom and frequent trips to the chiropractor. Is there a better system available on the market where you don't have to climb half way out of the boat? Thanks

Grace: Check with Cabela's. Two different types.
One is called "E.Z. Steer Motor Connectors" at about $180 to $190.(P/N FE-01-0974) The other ones(2) are called "Motor Connector Rods" $24.99, $49.99(SS) and an adapter for hyd.steer at $19.99. Check P/N FE-01-0971-000
Check on www.cabelas.com

:)

Re: Dual engine connector

Should be able to leave them connected all the time, if you have the right system and its installed correctly.
