dual eska outboards???

My bro just gave a second eska 5hp ob...can you put two on a boat or does that pose a safety or stupidity issue??? Ideas or comments appreciated

Do it, if the boat is rated for it and they'll fit.
I have no idea at all how to tie them together and synchronize the throttles, but why not have some fun?

if the load capacity plate says the HP and the weight is ok why not?
saw a boat on lake whitney once with 3 jonnyrude 15's on the back.

You are a very patient man. I couldn't keep ONE of those things running, I'd be working on them twice as much if I had 2.

Tooooooooooo funny!!!! I put bout 5hp's on the transom and had gotten used to the throttles when a floating "light pole" wanted the motor more than I did! (lol) When my wife and kids finished laughing at the scene, I used long cane pole and other primative gear to try and locate the moter but to no avail. Was fun for about 10 min. until the night claimed the day! It was a twin cyl from sears and must have been early '70's. Needed some work but ran. Will try to fish it out again. Investment on the motor 2-plugs, 1qt of fuel! And my borother said it wouldn't run!!!.........
