I am kind of new here , only by not posting very much. I have been reading a lot of Great information about my boat and I will reccommend this site to all. My question right now is this. Can I make my existing fuel tank a dual Pick-up or do I need to get buy another already set up that way?

Re: Dual Pick-up Fuel Tank

Some tanks already have a second pick-up tube installed, some do not. If you have one that does, you'll probably find a 1/2" plug sticking up near the one in use. If yours does not, a retrofit will probably be impractical ...

Re: Dual Pick-up Fuel Tank

just wondering... what is the advantage of a dual pickup system?
on my tank there is 2 pickups... one goes part way down, the other to the bottom... so i assume it is so you can keep a reserve without having to worry about checking...
is the the only point of a 2 pickup system?
