I recently purchased another hobbie boat (to my wife's dismay) which is a 1973 T-Craft 23ft Flybridge with a Merc 888 in it. After going through all the fluids, filters, system checks and getting the oil, amp, and temp gauges working, I spent 9 hours on Lake St. Clair last Thursday on what turned out to be a pretty dry and fairly good running vessel. (Heavy bugger though) However, it has dual stations and the top steering wheel just spins. I don't have much (any) experience with hydraulic steering but I've begun the tinkering process. Any info on this system or how to fill and bleed it would be greatly appreciated.

Ayuh,...Welcome Aboard,.... This is really a General boat question,+ not really Motor/ drive related...
But,...
You'll need to ID the system, built by Whom, so that We can help ya...
There's gotta be a sticker or stamping on it somewhere...

I believe iboater F_R is from the Hyd. Helm industry,+ is Very Helpful for cases such as yourself...
