I have dual cables on my 1990 Ranger with a 150 Johnson fastrike can I take 1 cable off and run the boat like that or is it a safety issue I will replace the other as soon as I can find one and afford it I know it's only one because I had to loosen it to get at a nut on the outboard and with out that one on it moved easily What do you think???
