Just replaced my old 15ft shifter cable with new Teleflex Xtreme.

I was going to pull out old cable and use a weed wacker line to help pull in new cable as I had seen on a YouTube video.

I thought, hey why not just duct tape the new cable to the old cable and pull it through?

After removing all zip ties that were holding old cable, and temporarily removing the jam nuts and little rubber boots on the mid section of both the old and new cables where they were duct taped together so they wouldn't catch on anything ...

The new cable pulled right on through in 2 minutes following the exact routing of old cable.

I know others probably have done this also, but just in case, I thought I would post it.

Cheers,

John
