I put the brand new plastic tank between the last seat and the transom in my old Sea Nymph. Tends to slide around a bit and rest on top of my left foot all the time. Looked at placing it forward of the last seat but that does not look much better.

Where do you-all put your tank? And how do you keep it in place?

Thanx,

Ray L.

mine is a built in tank in the bow , but on my old outboard I kept both tanks in the stern under the splashwell. You want buy a strap attach the strap to the floor and use it to hold them In place.

I'm a newbie: 'splashwell' ?

'attach the strap to the floor' Do you mean drill holes in the bottom of the boat? Yikes!

the splashwell it the cover over the stern of the boat to keep the water from splashing in the boat when you are going down the lake or stopping. lightly sand the area to scuff it up and use epoxy to glue the strap in.

Ok, this is an open boat. No splashwell.
Epoxy is a good idea. I use JB weld for lots of stuff. Does that work for you?

Thx,

Excellent. You are a great asset!
Sent you an email reply, but wanted to make sure the group knows that you really went above and beyond, again.

Those pics were perfect!
