I have a 24'0 Seasprt,5500 lbs, powered with a 740 engine with a Volvo Penta duo prop and a 1.95:1 ratio. The boat came with a rear B-5 and a front B-4 prop set-up. Upon testing with a light load WOT was 4450 RPM. I need help in determining weather I should buy a B-4 or B-5 duo-prop set. Regards

First thing is you can't mix prop pitches so until you test with the same pitch front and rear we're just guessing.

So while we're guessing, I'd say the B5 is probably where you'll end up.

Hi, thanks for your response, I agree you need a starting point. One of the props may have been re-pitched as the previous owner purchased the boat from the SeaSport Dealer in Bellingham,WA.
I was hopping there might be other SeaSport owners running an identical set up and could tell me what they are using. Regard's

There is not an official SeaSport dealer/mfg any longer as they went under with the economy. The owners started another boat dealership/mfg facility on Labounty Rd in Ferndale, same people running it. I go by it all the time but for the life of me I can't remember the name. They still carry the Orca brand.
