Hello, I was looking for a brief history of the improvements made to the duoprop drive. I am shopping for a used boat and it will likely be a Volvo Penta sterndrive/duoprop ... and a chronology of the years that improvements were made will help me narrow down the search. I know that there are a number of different versions available. My application will be for a gas engine for about a 24 foot fishing boat...like a Striper 2301 (from about 2002 to 2010). I have found a little information so far:

DPG 2003-2008
DPH 2004-?
DPSA 2007-?
DPSM 1997-2005
Not sure what the above designations stand for. I read in some review that they made "big improvements" in 2007 but it didn't go into detail. Any information would be appreciated.
