I am going to put the question aside for a moment. I see in your other thread (you really should try to keep them together
) that you have removed your decking and are moving onto the transom.
The deck surface of grizzly grip, durabak, marine paint with non slip additive, carpet.....regardless of what you are using is just to finish the decking and is applied after everything else.
Just my opinion...... I would finish the transom and the deck then concentrate on the deck surfacing..... which will be applied over a deck which should be previously sealed with epoxy or fiberglass.
