I think I have ruled out ceramic tile for my kitchen. Too hard, too cold, grout stains, and the fact the floor has to be raised about an inch. My brother in law is a floor layer so he will help me. When I told him I ruled out ceramic I was surprised he did not try to talk me into it since that's all he does these days. Instead he told me about a new product called duraceramic made by Congoleum. He said it would fit my needs. He actually installed all of the Duraceramic in his company's show room. So I have been researching the product and the reviews seem to be 50/50 some say great and some say not worth the price It does seem to be rather expensive. any body have any personal experience with it? I really want to stay away from ceramic.
