hello every one , been off for a while . I took my m8t out on his boat , as he does not have experience crossing the Bar [waves ] he has a 40 hp Magnum , what i found with this motor , i was sitting in the mid break waiting for the sets [2 largest waves] to break , & after that you normally get a break in the wave pattern , then shoot through , what i found is that on immediate acceleration it does not pop up out the water , to give you the sudden thrust you need to get going course time is the essence here , he has a 14inch prop , what is best go 1 size up or down , thanks
