I built a DVA Adapter based on Bktheking postings. For those of you wondering it works great. I built it exactly to his specs. The diode and resistor were at Radio Shack. The capacitor was too expensive to have shipped from an online store. I found it on ebay, 3 caps for $2.00 and free shipping from Hong Kong. Yes, it did take three weeks to get it.
People have been asking if a Peak Reading meter would work. I have a brand new peak reading meter and the readings are nowhere near the readings when I attach the DVA. I thought my stator readings were too low until I used the DVA and read the correct voltages.
Hope this helps.

Re: DVA Adapter

Great post, if you include a link to Bk's post with the diagram and instructions, this post should be included in the 'sticky notes' section as this subject is often repeated.

I hope the Moderators notice this.
