I am strongly considering converting to Kodiak disc brakes, and my research has shown basically three finishes available ("e-coat, Silver Cadmium, and Stainless). I keep my boat in fresh water, and though salt water is only a several hour drive from here, I have no intent to dunk my trailer in the corrosive stuff.
I do store my trailer outside year round.
What would be the deciding factors between the E-coat and SCAD versions. I see SCAD seem more widely available and for not really that much more expense? I don't envision needing SS due to the primarily fresh water use.
