We are looking for a good e-mail service for three months while we are in temporary housing. Free would be great. Looked at yahoo and they have to much junk to put up with.
Simple is better with out all of the adds.

Thanks for the help.

Re: E-mail account

I've been Yahoo-ing from day one. The thing I like about it most is that it's fully portable. Well actually, the thing I like most is that it's free. But the animated ads are annoying since it slows response time quite a bit, especially with this old dinosaur. Otherwise they're easy to ignore. If I had dial-up plus this old dinosaur, I'd surely be hairless by now, yanking it out by the fistload. ;)

Yahoo! here also for many years. Same reasoning as Willy, I can get to it from any PC that's internet connected and it's free. I also have an email provided by my ISP, but I don't often give it out.

Gmail. Good junk controls, can access via web or POP3 (normal email client). Also gives you Picasa picture web storage (presently 250MB). At this point I don't see any reason why it can't be my permanent personal email address for life.
