Hi All
I am about to upgrade my 1990 90hp Merc for one of the new breed 2 strokes, so my question is, when you finnish using these new motors and flush them out can you remove the fuel line at the same time to drain out the old fuel,or will this do damage to injestors and pumps, I do this when flushing out my 90 Merc, this leaves the carbs dry.
Regards
Chunder06

Do NOT run the new direct injection outboards out of fuel. Use a fuel stabilizer in your fuel tank and follow the manufacturers directions for storing the motor.

-John
