Hey guys, just tore off the carbs on my project motor. Was planning on taking all the jets and orifices out for a soak. Long story short I tried to remove the large brass tube in the middle of the main body, and mangled it. I thought because it was slotted at the top it should come out. Pictured here in the middle of the photo. I don't see this on any of the parts diagrams for this engine. Did I just totally hose this carb?
