WAS LOOKING TO PURCHASE THIS ITEM WONDERING WHAT YOU GUY'S WOULD RECOMMEND MOST OF MY FISHING IS IN THE BAY DEPTH NO MORE THAN 40 FT. OF WATER AND WOULD LIKE TO STAY UNDER $150.00 BUCK'S

I,m pretty sure it is the same as the 168, except it has a bigger screen, and costs more. Both should serve you fine.

I have got a very basic Humming Bird, and it does fine, lord know's that it has seen some tough conditions. I think I spent around $100.<br />The year that I put it on my old 14 footer,.. I got skunked for a month or so- Spending too much time trying to read the finder. I use it to mark an area and get a feel for unfamiliar waters. <br /><br />Good Luck
